Meet our team

We are based in Kensington and Chelsea, where we are uniquely positioned to connect schools, which enjoy little or no outdoor space, with local churches whose gardens are either underused or could be more creatively shared.

Dr. Erica Cobb, PhD

Founder and Director
Erica is a retired University professor, mother of two and a resident of West London. She serves on the Soil Association’s Policy Club and is a board member of The Sustainable Angle. Erica is passionate about education and the environment.

I believe that all children, especially urban children, should interact consistently and directly with nature, thus coming to understand and appreciate their environment and growing into responsible and enthusiastic stewards.

What better way is there than to plant and nurture their own edible garden!

Pascale-Rochefeuille

I want to inspire and empower people of all ages to take action in their lives for healthier food & lifestyle, to make a difference by helping nature & wildlife, from schools, young & older people to community groups.

Bringing you closer to nature, and nature closer to you!

EMILY LERICHE

Administrative assistant
Emily hails from the West Country and is passionate about all things ecological and sustainable. She manages all finances, administration, fundraising and sponsorships for Arcadia Charitable Trust and Growing Space.

I want to encourage children to grow their own food, just as I was taught in my parents’ garden as a child.  Instilling positive and healthy attitudes towards food and where it comes from at a young age, we can raise a more sustainably-minded generation.

Let's help communities and children reconnect with nutritious foods and healthy habits!

KELLY GETHIN

Social Media Assistant

I want to showcase the incredible classes that Growing Space has to offer, so young children can enjoy nature at its finest. The concept of growing your own food from an early age is the way forward for a healthier lifestyle for these children.

The best way for kids to enjoy nature!

Our volunteers & Family ambassadors

We have a wonderful community of people involved in the gardens. Our volunteers and family ambassadors play a vital role in supporting our work.
