When? All school holidays.

 

In the Growing Space Gardens, we provide an enriching environment for primary school kids to:

  •  Enjoy hands-on gardening fun and form an early bond with nature.
  • Take part in forest school activities, like den-building, playing mud kitchen, and grilling marshmallows or making popcorn over a small fire.
  • Learn about the natural world, ecosystems, recycling, and much more.
  • Explore freely, nurture friendships and socialise.

Through applying Montessori principles children:

  • Get to enact sensory exploration, freedom of choice, and creative expression.
  • Develop important life skills such as independence, communication, confidence, teamwork, and patience.
  • Cultivate an understanding of and appreciation for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Build values of kindness, friendship, responsibility, and community spirit.

But most of all, they get to have fun with their friends outside in the fresh air.
