Summer Adventure Holiday Club
Event Details
We are thrilled for the return our Summer Adventure Holiday Club in the Growing Space at Christ Church!
Suitable for ages 4 to 10
In our edible teaching garden, children get the chance to:
- Delight in gardening fun – sowing, planting, pruning, weeding, watering etc. while learning about nature and ecosystems.
- Enjoy woodland exploration and forest school activities.
- Take part in Bubble Magic, traditional and nature-based arts and crafts, e.g. constructing a tomato castle, wormery, terrarium, bug hotel, and much more.
The days are free-flow and supported by an experienced Montessori educator, giving children the chance to:
- Experience sensory exploration, freedom of choice, and creative expression.
- Improve their fine motor skills, self-discipline, problem-solving, and confidence.
- Develop life skills such as independence, communication, collaboration, and patience.
- Learn about ecosystems, life cycles, recycling, and active responsibility in an applied setting which further consolidates their understanding.
- Grow an appreciation for sustainability, environmental stewardship, and wildlife protection.
But most of all, they get a relaxed, supportive and screen-free environment to breathe fresh air, socialise and have fun with their friends!
