Growing Space at St. Helen’s
The sustainable and organic garden is designed to provide growing space for Bassett House school children during term time and for the local community (all ages welcome) during holidays and weekends.
Our environmental coordinator (EC), Pascale Rochefeuille, trains and assists school staff as needed in order to ensure that the garden is incorporated into the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. She also organises and oversees courses and workshops for the local community – liaising with nurseries, community groups and others to ensure a wide variety of activities and learning opportunities for all.
